NEW IN RECENT YEARS
In 2019 we shortened the show by one day.
Registration will be Friday.
Judging will be Saturday morning.
Show will open Saturday noon - 5 pm.
The GALA will be Saturday night beginning at 7 pm.
There will not be a banquet.
Sunday will remain the same as previous years.
BEST IN SHOW
We now have one overall Best In Show award of $300.
That winner is chosen from the best in event winners from:
- all events - all levels - all divisions - all classes - all levels
- all events - all levels - all divisions - all classes - all levels
MEMBER STORE
A member store booth was established in 2019.
Each member who submits things for the store MUST take a turn working in the "store". This is for art prints, cards, smaller pieces of art, hand made jewellery and other small items available for sale. If you put an item in - think about how to display it. Cards in baskets - or card racks. Prints in some sort of rack. We may be able to hang smaller pieces and have some on the tables - if you want your work displayed on a table easel you must bring one in with you.
An inventory sheet with each item and prices must be submitted with the pieces.
For each sale, 10% will go back to the show and 90% will go to the artist - you will get your share after the show when there has been a chance to calculate the results.

Traditional Aboriginal Art competitions were added to the Carving & Sculpture and the Painting & Drawing Events in 2017.
EXPANDED COMPETITION CATEGORIES & SPECIAL COMPETITIONS
Expanded format for competition events includes all natural subjects. We have expanded to include categories for:
Landscapes
Florals
Domestic Animals
Fantasy
Digital Art
Traditional Native Art
WORKSHOPS

There is an early bird registration bonus for the workshops if you register prior to September 30. Workshops not reaching their minimum registration enrolment by Sept 30 may be cancelled at the discretion of the instructor.
