This special evening gives wildlife art collectors and enthusiasts the opportunity to meet participating artists and view the show in a relaxed and fun setting. It is also one of the best chances nature artists have to meet others in their field. The evening will feature silent and live auctions. Wine and cheese will be served for your enjoyment. A cash bar will also be available.
The Saskatchewan Wildlife Art Association encourages artists to donate their work to the auction with the option of donating fully or splitting proceeds 50/50. Proceeds will help offset show costs. To donate an auction piece, contact the association (swaa1986@gmail.com) or bring the piece with you to registration. A reserve bid that is no higher than 1/2 the selling price can be set to ensure that the art is sold at a fair price; for example, if the artist would normally ask $500 for a piece, a reserve bid of no more than $250 can be established.

Artists, buyers and SWAA members should keep in mind that this is a fund-raiser to ensure that the show and association can continue in upcoming years. We appreciate the artists who donate their work; and we appreciate the buyers who come out and purchase that work. SWAA members are encouraged to attend the Gala - it is a great place to collect your fellow artists' work!
